The LD Systems MAUI G3 column speaker series has expanded with a range of high-performance options for different applications and venue sizes.
The new MAUI 44 G3, MAUI 44 G3 MIX, and MAUI 66 G3 active 4-way systems feature precise cardioid dispersion patterns with improved power handling and extended low-end. This is ideal when you want the portable convenience of a column speaker rig, without compromising on the power or frequency range.

With the MAUI 44 G3 and MAUI 44 G3 MIX models, you get a two-segment column with 14 3.5-inch neodymium midrange drivers and four 1-inch compression drivers, while its 15-inch neodymium subwoofer (1,800W RMS) has a low-end response that goes down to 34 Hz and a maximum SPL rating of 133 dB.
Meanwhile, the MAUI 66 G3 takes this even further with an extra two midrange drivers for clarity over longer distances and an 18-inch sub that goes as low as 28 Hz and up to 135 dB SPL. Within the top section of the column, newly designed phase plugs and BEM-optimized waveguides keep the dispersion even over the 120 x 25-degree zone.
In the lower section of the column, the horn-loaded midrange drivers improve the headroom and overall clarity of all the new MAUI G3 systems, especially with vocals. With the MAUI 44 G3 MIX, you get a built-in digital mixer with eight XLR combo inputs and six mic preamps. This is expanded further with Bluetooth connectivity and integrated effects.
There are also four monitor outputs for wedge or in-ear mixes, and all mixer and global PA system functions can be accessed with the color display interface or the MAUI MIX app for iOS and Android devices. What’s more, the useful SysLink function lets you pair two MAUI 44 G3 MIX systems with 16 inputs total.
