Harley Benton JB-62CC Mini: Short Scale Bass With Vintage Vibes
It's 23 inches of awesomeness!
The new Harley Benton JB-62CC Mini Series includes two stylish little electric basses suited for beginners or as travel basses. Let’s take a look.
Small Size, Great Design
With the two models in either Shell Pink or Seafoam Green, the Harley Benton JB-62CC Mini is an instant eye-catcher. Combine that with the 3-layer mint green pickguard, which gives the instrument an additional vintage touch, and you get a short but very beautiful-looking instrument.

Due to its basswood body, the JB-62CC Mini is on the lighter side of things. Therefore, it’s comfortable to play even for longer periods, while the Canadian hard rock maple neck provides stability. In addition, its bolt-on neck with a C-shaped neck profile allows for a comfortable grip.

Furthermore, the maple fingerboard with 19 medium frets and classic black ABS dot inlays offers a comfortable playing surface. With a scale length of 584 mm (23”) and a fretboard radius of 305 mm (12″), this bass is perfect for players of all skill levels.

JB-62CC Mini: Pickups and Hardware
The JB-62CC Mini comes equipped with two HBZ Custom Wound VJB Alnico 5 single coils – one at the bridge and one at the neck. This combination delivers a warm, balanced sound. And with two volume controls and a global tone control, you have all the control you need to dial in your desired sound.

The chrome hardware and B401 CR bridge complete the package and ensure high tuning stability, while the CB01-CR tuners ensure precise tuning.

And as if that weren’t enough, the Harley Benton JB-62CC Mini also comes with a gig bag.
Price and Availability
With the two new models, you get a lot of bass for very little money. Each Harley Benton JB-62CC Mini costs 189 euros at Thomann*.
