Guild 2026 – the Line-up
Guild 2026: VR1 F-40 Au Naturel
The VR1 F-40 Au Naturel marks the launch of Guild’s new Ventura Reserve Series and will be produced in limited quantities. Only 20 copies will be built worldwide, all in Ventura, California. The series aims to craft instruments of the highest quality in small quantities using rare tonewoods that have been stored for decades.

In terms of construction, the VR1 F-40 has a classic jumbo body. It features a master-grade Sitka spruce top made from decades-old stock, as well as solid East Indian rosewood for the back and sides. The unvarnished guitar allows the top maximum freedom of vibration, clearly focusing on resonance, dynamics, and directness.
The mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard adheres to traditional dimensions and appeals to players seeking an open, unadulterated playing experience. Its minimalist design, free of electronics, high-gloss finishes, and decorative embellishments, underscores its status as a pure acoustic instrument. A truly unique feature!
Guild F-412 Standard / F-412E
The new Guild F-412 Standard marks Guild’s 2026 return to a US-made 12-string jumbo with a mahogany body. This is something that Guild has not offered for many years. The guitars are available in two versions: Natural and Pacific Sunset Burst.
In terms of materials, the F-412 features a solid African mahogany back and sides combined with a solid Sitka spruce top. The mahogany neck has a comfortable C-profile and a rosewood fingerboard, which is ideal for session musicians who need consistent playability during long sessions.

There are also optional models of the F-412E with an L.R. Baggs Element VTC pickup system. This system features discreetly integrated volume and tone controls in the sound hole. All models come with a Guild deluxe hardshell case and certificate.
