The venerable 6120 was designed together with the guitarist of the guitarists, Chet Atkins. It is one of the most frequently heard Gretsch instruments. The G6120TGQM-56 Limited Edition Quilt Classic Hollow Body remains true to the early design with classic aesthetics, which is enhanced by the use of a highly quilted maple top.
TV Jones T-Armond
This classic hollow body is considered a universal sonic tool that can be played easily and comfortably despite the size and shines with the great Gretsch sound, Other highlights include a pair of TV Jones T-Armond single-coil pickups, a Bigsby B6CBDE vibrato, beautiful block inserts, and gold hardware.
G6134TGQM-59 Limited Edition Quilt Classic Penguin
The G6134TQM-59 Limited Quilt Classic Penguin is an exquisite version of the original masterpiece and combines opulent aesthetics with contemporary features. This limited edition model, again, sports a highly quilted maple top.

TV Jones Ray Butts Ful-Fidelity Filter’Tron Pickups
These pickups are a true-to-original reproduction of the “Ful-Fidelity” filter’Tron pickups invented by the legendary Ray Butts. They were produced according to Ray’s notes and designs as well as according to TV Jones’ several decades comprehensive analysis of the original filter’Tron pickups. They have a tighter bass reproduction and slightly more treble than modern Filter’Tron pickups. The absence of wax potting leads to a more open, three-dimensional sound with unique sparkle and great dynamics.
Verdict
If bling is your thing, then these two quilted maple limited editions are certainly very stylish. They are at the other end of the price scale from the recent Pristine LTD models. However, they will more than likely sound even better than they look.
