Fortin Amps Fourteen: TS808 Tones & Beyond
Fortin Amps Fourteen offers Hexdrive and modded TS-style overdrive tones
Fortin Amps has just revealed their new Fourteen dual overdrive pedal that combines the classic TS808, TS9, and more into one compact green coloured stompbox. Could this be your next Tubescreamer?
Fortin Amps Fourteen
The new Fortin Amps Fourteen dual overdrive pedal follows the release last month of the signature Messhuggah pedal.

Fortin has been modding TS808 and TS9 pedals for quite some time, and recently announced on their social media channels that certain US Tariffs were making this no longer viable.
They have just announced the Fourteen, and this single pedal combines many classic Tubescreamer overdrive tones into one unit.
Hexdrive & Modded TS
Building upon the celebrated Fortin Hexdrive legacy, this new pedal boasts two additional, meticulously calibrated modes.
These deliver the harmonically rich and dynamically responsive character that cemented Fortin’s reputation for exceptional overdrive transformation. This company is known for making some great amplifiers, and so they know all about excellent drive tones.
Dual Channels – Three Modes
The new design features two identical channels, each offering three distinct modes – including the legendary Fortin-modded OD9/TS9, OD808/TS808, and the Hexdrive – plus a convenient 1/4″ side jack for effortless amp channel switching.
The HD mode (HexDrive) provides versatile tone shaping, ranging from a clean boost to a rich overdrive, with a DRIVE control that gradually introduces dirt.
The F9 mode offers a significant output boost, driving your amp naturally while preserving its character, and delivers a clean boost at lower DRIVE settings, transitioning to a tube-like overdrive with enhanced midrange and articulate pick attack.
Finally, the F808 mode provides the highest output and saturation, functioning as either an amp booster or a full distortion, with a natural tube-like overdrive, enhanced compression, and boosted upper midrange for clear pick attack. The F808’s output level is significantly higher than the other modes.
Channel Switching
You can easily switch between Channel 1 (red) and Channel 2 (green) using the dedicated CH 1/2 switch. Each channel offers straightforward controls: Gain adjusts the amount of overdrive, Tone shapes the treble frequencies, and Level controls the overall output volume of the pedal.
Versatile Switching & Control
It features true bypass and a reliable relay-based soft footswitch. Importantly, the pedal remembers its last setting and will power up in that same state. Plus, remote switching allows you to change the channel of your amp as you activate the pedal, and a polarity switcher allows you to assign either side of the pedal to either channel of your amp.
Fortin builds all their pedals in the USA and ships on their site from 19 May. We will update you as soon as they are available on Thomann.
