Two effects channels is a useful thing to have in a single module. Each channel has a choice of 8 effects which consist of three delays, three reverbs, a “Ripper” overdrive and a pitch shifter. The effects have two controllable parameters set by the top two knobs. There’s a single CV input for each side that can be assigned to either parameter knob or to the wet/dry mix with a few taps of the Select button. Both sides take a mono input and can output in stereo. The output of the first channel is normalised to the input of the second so if nothing is connected to the second channel then you can layer up both effect engines on the single input.

As with many digital modules when you turn off the power you lose the settings. With the Dual FX you can hit the Save button to commit the current parameter and wet/dry settings to memory. They are then instantly recallable at any time.

The Dual FX is only 10HP wide, it’s a simple and effective DSP processor for your rack.
