DRONAR Master Edition gives you 50GB of Gothic Instruments cinematic spookiness
I like the range of DRONAR virtual instruments. They manage to offer something uniquely interesting in a saturated cinematic music market. It’s something to do with the ease and familiarity of the interface or the mastery of the Kontakt player engine. In any case Gothic Instruments has decided to pull the whole series together into one massive bundle.
DRONAR Master Edition
It’s a bundle of their first 8 atmospheric sound machines. This includes Metal & Glass, Brass, Vintage Synth, Cinematic Atmospheres, Dark Synthesis, Live Strings, Hybrid and Guitarscapes. But rather than just bundle them up at an attractive price Gothic Instruments have created a new and improved (although much the same) singular interface for the whole lot. This means that you can mix and match sounds from across the entire series resulting in more sound possibilities than you could ever realise in your lifetime.
It’s going to cost you 50GB of drive space and the time to browse through over 2000 presets. There’s some fabulous stuff in there though. You can while away the hours drifting through soundscapes of evolving textures and never get any real work done.
DRONAR Master Edition will be available on the 4th September for £247 with some rather attractive upgrade prices for people who already own a DRONAR product. Distributors Time and Space are doing a sneaky deal where if you buy their DRONAR bundle of individual instruments now for £202 you can upgrade to the Master Edition for £9.95. That’s a pretty awesome deal.
So if you are into sound design, composing for screen, video games or just like to lose yourself in unimaginable worlds of music then this is for you.
