This聽Dean Kerry King Overlord signature model comes from the USA Custom Shop and is not subtle. It screams visually, with a sharp-angled body and highly figured headstock that make a bold statement
Kerry King Overlord
The new Dean Kerry King Overlord聽signature model is very extreme, both visually and as a high-gain riff machine. It features a solid mahogany body and a聽maple top finished in Dark Gray.聽The 24.75″ scale length set-thru 3-piece maple neck has a custom Kerry King C-shaped neck profile and 12″ fretboard radius. It is fitted with 24 jumbo frets聽on an ebony fretboard.
There is also some pretty fancy inlay work, that includes handcrafted Slayer-inspired pearl custom inlays accompanied by聽LED fret markers along the side.
Sustainiac
It comes loaded with a Sustainiac neck pickup and an聽EMG 81聽with PA2 Preamp Booster pickup at the bridge position. This means this guitar will scream with high gain and offer infinite sustained notes as well.
Controls consist of聽Volume, PA2 Booster on/off, a 3-way toggle, Tone, Sustainiac on/off with mode switch and a 25K pot to further control volume and tone.
The hardware is all black and includes a Kahler KFK tremolo system聽and a set of Grover聽18:1 tuners.
