Synth fans have an opportunity to grab ASM’s Hydrasynth Desktop wavetable synthesizer at a reduced price: EUR 745, down from EUR 899! That’s pretty tempting, because – let’s face it – the Hydrasynth is a beast. Of course, you may decide you want the version with keys and a ribbon controller. But the tradeoff with the Desktop incarnation is that it takes up less space and invites alternative sequencing methods – which is one way of getting interesting sounds.
