You want noise? The Befaco Noise Plethora has noise by the bucket load. Multiple noise algorithms through analogue filters for surprising textures and gritty sweeps.

Noise Plethora

We first saw this noise machine at Superbooth but now Noise Plethora is available as a kit or fully assembled. It offers 2 identical digital noise generators with multiple algorithms and a 3rd simpler voice for when all you want is white noise or some grit. Each voice has its own analogue multimode filter for some fierce sculpting of those full range frequencies.

The banks of noise algorithms are really surprising with all sorts of textures, rumbles, lo-fi crunchiness, clusters and bubbles. Fiddling with the two parameters you can pull out all sorts of variations down to thumbs and up to hisses and wobbling cackles. A “Plethora” of noise is certainly an apt description.

We often find white and pink noise in Eurorack and you would commonly mix them with oscillator waveforms for that swept sound, but Noise Plethora really wants to take centre stage and offers a whole load of creative possibilities.

Noise Plethora is available now for €356.95 assembled or €254.10 as a pretty deep kit.
