Cardboard Stratocaster!
Signal Snowboards are new to the guitar building world, but are no strangers to using cardboard in new and exciting ways, utilising some insane engineering techniques!
They have even got the folks at the Fender Custom Shop to try these out and give it their seal of approval as well.
This whole concept is much more than making it look like a Stratocaster, that part is easy. The real art here is the whole guitar including the neck is made from cardboard. With something like 250lbs of torque on your average Stratocaster guitar neck this is a serious feat of engineering.
Watch peoples jaws drop when they play and hear it.
The craziest thing is it really does play and sound just like a real Stratocaster should. So will tone cardboard become a thing now I wonder…
