The beyerdynamic DT 275 PRO is designed to provide comfortable monitoring you can rely on in any situation, from production to live sound and DJing.
Believe it or not, the beyerdynamic DT series goes back to 1937 with the DT 48, the first-ever dynamic headphone design, which was produced for 75 years. In this time, beyerdynamic also released the famous DT 100 in 1965, and followed with the DT 150, which were both industry standards across Europe in their respective eras in recording and broadcast.

The DT 275 PRO uses a closed-back on-ear design that offers 22 dBA of passive noise attenuation that reduces sound in your surrounding environment considerably, for a more isolated monitoring experience on set or in a crowded venue. The design is compact, weighing just under 200g, with the rotating earcup design common to many of the popular headphone models in the DT series.
With the locking connector, you can attach the cable to either earcup for the most convenient configuration to suit your application. DJM Series mixers, for example, have the headphone jack positioned on the left, while the A & H Xone Series have it on the right, so this allows you to compensate for these kinds of incongruities with gear from different manufacturers.
For maximum compatibility across a range of consumer and professional devices, the DT 275 PRO has an impedance rating of 45 ohms. This ensures that you get optimum audio performance whether you’re connected to your laptop, your smartphone, or a professional DJ mixer, which adds to the overall reliability of the DT 275 PRO.
As per usual, beyerdynamic has managed to combine quality and utility, this time with affordability. The DT 275 PRO seems to be aiming to be an alternative for the Sennheiser HD-25, which uses a similar on-ear design.
