The FreqInOut FO1 is a flexible, plugin-controlled interface designed specifically for incorporating hardware into your DAW workflow, from guitar effects pedals to outboard compressors and EQs for music production and mixing.

Using the same ESS 32-bit AD/DA conversion (up to 192 kHz), the Dual FreqInOut FO1_2RK gives you a total of eight mono inputs and eight outputs. This allows you to connect up to four stereo hardware effects chains and run them across key channel groups like your vocals, drums, and guitars, as well as your master bus.
The major benefit is to have latency-compensated inputs for the hardware inserts in your DAW and a neat plugin interface that lets you capture images of your hardware faceplates. What’s more, there are a few added features that make things a little more interesting. These include flexible processing order via the plugin through its link to the analogue matrix, which lets you bypass or re-order any of the four stereo slots.
In addition, each instance of the plugin allows parallel processing with the wet/dry control, as well as mid-side processing, which is ideal for shaping your channel groups and main stereo bus in different ways. Of course, the true power of the FreqInOut FO1 lies in your selection of outboard gear, and this becomes particularly versatile when you add a patchbay to your setup.
