Rather than enhancing your hair follicles, the Root Boost section can actually increase or reduce the gain of the fundamental and adjust the bandwidth. Because the plugin analyzes the pitch of the incoming signal, the processing adapts to the different notes in your bassline. Finally, the signal passes through the analogue modelled Resonance section, which uses a parallel filter network to enhance the signal by introducing additional warmth and harmonics that make the pitch of the sound stand out.
