SSL TCA Tour: A Compact System T-based Platform

The SSL TCA Tour is a compact and scalable mixing system, compatible with the Tempest DSP engine and control app for live and broadcast setups.
The TCA Tour uses System T components for a system that has two different options for the 16-fader control surfaces, which SSL calls fader tiles (DFT and DFT+). With the plus version, you get OLED displays and metering on each fader.

The TCA Tour desktop system is configured for immediate operation with onboard I/O, including eight XLR mic/line inputs, four line outputs, an integrated network switch, headphone monitoring, and an adjustable touchscreen mount. Meanwhile, with etherCON® and opticalCON® connections, you can connect to the external Tempest DSP Engines and I/O routing.
All System T DSP engines, such as the TE1, TE2, VTE, T25, and T80, are compatible with the TCA Tour, and it also links with SSL Network I/O devices, as well as third-party AES67, ST 2110, and Dante devices. In addition, the TCA Tour can be expanded with additional fader tiles in the System T range and the Remote Master Tile, which offers a master fader and monitor controls.
With the Tempest Control app, you get comprehensive control of the TCA Tour features and remote or direct connectivity for Tempest Engines. All in all, you can connect up to six fader tiles and a master tile, making the system scalable for any application from FOH to broadcast and live production.
Overall, the TCA Tour combines the console-style workflow for which SSL is renowned with digital flexibility, giving you a system that is completely customizable with top-of-the-line audio processing and routing. This is particularly interesting for touring acts who need a system that can be adjusted to suit venues of any shape or size.
