With these new Charvel Pro Mod Plus Dinky DK24, Charvel is introducing a couple of remarkably beautiful color variants of the popular series. They’re also adding new versions with seven strings and different pickup configurations. Let’s take a look!
Charvel Pro Mod Plus Dinky DK24-7 CLSTL SLK: Celestial White
Charvel is stepping up its game by expanding the series with several new models. For instance, there is this magnificent seven-string model. The Charvel Pro Mod Plus Dinky DK24-7 CLSTL SLK features a basswood body, caramelized maple neck, and ebony fretboard.
It comes with a Seymour Duncan Full Shred TB-10 at the bridge and a Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro APH-1N in the neck position. In addition, this model also features a Gotoh Custom 510 tremolo. This color variant is called Celestial Silk, and it is currently available for $1,333 / £1,190 / €1,349 at Thomann*. Additionally, there is a six-string model priced at $1,199 / £1,079 / €1,219.
Blue Curaçao
The Charvel Pro Mod Plus Dinky DK24 HSS BLCU features a beautiful Blue Curaçao finish that is a real eye-catcher. This HSS Super Strat also comes with equally impressive features. In terms of wood material, Charvel used basswood for the body with a quilted maple top, caramelized maple for the bolt-on neck, and ebony for the fretboard.
For pickups, this model comes with a Seymour Duncan Full Shred TB-10 humbucker at the bridge, a Seymour Duncan Custom Flat Strat SSL-6 in the middle, and a Seymour Duncan Custom Flat Strat SSL-6 RWRP single coil at the neck. For hardware, a Wilkinson WVS130-2P tremolo ensures tuning stability and optimal playability.
