Founded by Antonio Meze in 2011, Romanian headphone manufacturer Meze Audio offers a range of lasting headphone designs in open-back, closed-back, and even in-ear formats.

The STRADA headphones are constructed using a lightweight magnesium frame with a padded headband that has been carefully designed to distribute any pressure along the frame. This means you can listen for hours without fatigue or a buildup of heat. Meanwhile, the ear cups are made from Macassar ebony, giving each pair its own unique signature.
To connect to the ear cups, the STRADA’s ear pads are magnetically mounted, ensuring a perfectly sealed acoustic enclosure and allowing you to swap them out easily. If you look closely at the Meze headphone range, you’ll see that the chassis design for the STRADA is inspired by the renowned LIRIC series.
However, the body has been enhanced to get the best performance from the 50 mm dynamic drivers that were first used in the 109 PRO’s design. Now optimized for the best closed-back performance, the cellulose composite dome driver is reinforced with carbon fiber, delivering exquisite detail and clarity while keeping distortion levels to a minimum.
According to Meze Audio, the STRADA’s frequency range is 5 Hz – 30 kHz with a sensitivity rating of 111 dB SPL/mW at 1 kHz. In addition, with a 40 Ω impedance rating, you can use the STRADA headphones with a wide range of consumer and professional audio devices and get optimal audio performance.
