Vox 2026: More Handwired Amps and New Vintage Pedals!
Even more vintage vibes from the popular amp maker!

Vox 2026 expands the successful Handwired amps series, and there are two new pedals as well: the VFZ-1 Fuzz and the VTB-1 Treble Booster. Let’s check out these new products!
What’s new with the AC line in Vox 2026?
Vox 2026 expands the popular Handwired series with three new amplifiers and a cabinet. Both the AC15 HW and the AC30 HW with Greenback speakers will be available soon. For these models, Vox says that you’ll get the legendary AC sound “with a warmer, more mid-focused voice”. You also get 12″ Celestion Greenback speakers (one in the AC15, two in the AC30), an EL84 power section, and a custom-wound output transformer for vintage harmonic response.

There is also a new AC30 Handwired Head model in the series in addition to a stylish new speaker cabinet called the V212HWRX HAND-WIRED CABINET. It is worth noting that this speaker is equipped with Celestion Alnico Blue.
What makes the Vox VFZ-1 Fuzz special?
The next product of Vox 2026 is Vox VFZ-1 Fuzz. The pedal brings the legendary fuzz sound of the 60s back to your pedalboard. The VFZ-1 is reminiscent of the influential two-transistor circuit from the late 60s, better known as Mk 1.5.

The fuzz pedal features silicon transistors, precisely tuned to deliver an authentic germanium-like sound and response. Each of these Silver Can BC108 transistors is set to a precisely calculated operating point. This allows them to interact in the same musical and harmonic way as the Mk 1.5 circuits.
The VFZ-1 includes a Crunch switch that lets you create smooth overdrive sounds with less gain and reduced volume. And with its Bass Cut and Tone Cut controls, you can shape and customize your sound to your liking. Furthermore, thanks to its high input impedance, the pedal can be used anywhere in your signal chain.
Vox VTB-1 Treble Booster
The new Vox VTB-1 brings you the feel of an authentic vintage treble booster. The components include a unique silicon design that mimics the non-linear behaviour of germanium, a single transistor amplifier stage that provides traditional clarity and touch sensitivity, and a precisely tuned bias that extends its sweet spot. A fat switch extends the amplified frequency range.

Conclusion and availability
The products from Vox 2026 are a preview of what’s to come and are not yet available. As soon as this changes, we will let you know here at Gearnews. Here at Thomann*, you can find all of Vox’s handwired amps that are already available.
The expansion of the HW series is a logical step toward representing the complete range of their own vintage amps. The two pedals are also likely to attract attention.
