More Information

This new release also offers VST3 support, so you can get the best performance from your plugins in this format. In addition, the drum tracks have also been upgraded with eight velocity layers, a slice motion function, and other improvements. Besides this, there is the addition of the Advanced Keygroup Synthesis engine.

The keygroup multi-sample synth engine provides an extensive platform for sound design, with a dual filter section, parameter automation, and advanced ADSR envelopes, as well as multiple LFOs, per-voice drift LFOs, and more. Meanwhile, you’ll also find new timestretch functions available.

AKAI has made it clear that this feature set is still far from the final version, so there is a way to go before we see many of the planned features. In the future, we can look forward to features such as Q-Link Setup, Arranger View, Time Signature Support, and new improvements to the user interface.
