The SONY WH-1000XM6 is the latest version of the popular ANC headphones, developed in collaboration with Sterling Sound mastering studio.
Over the years, the WH-1000X has become one of the most sought-after headphone series available, along with the Beats By Dre Beats Studio Pro and the Apple AirPods Max.

The Mark 6 features the new HD noise-canceling processor QN3, which is the first chip upgrade since the release of the WH-1000XM3 back in 2018. With the QN3 processor and a specially designed array of 12 microphones, the new M6 delivers better noise cancellation performance than ever and a more immersive listening experience, too.
According to SONY, this new ANC processor is seven times faster than the previous generation of technology and has been tested thoroughly in a wide range of different noise environments. By placing the microphone system closer to the listener’s ears, the new design offers improved accuracy when it comes to noise detection as it dynamically adapts to the surrounding environment.
The M6 also features a specially designed driver that uses the power of the new QN3 processor for DSP. In past cases where the previous WH-1000X model may have allowed subtle details to be masked by noise, the new M6 brings more clarity than ever. In addition, the M6 supports SONY’s 360 Reality Audio Upmix, which transforms stereo sound sources into an immersive spatial audio experience.
To truly deliver headphones that are calibrated across multiple music genres, SONY worked with Grammy-nominated mastering engineers from Sterling Sound, NY. This ensures that the listening experience is as emotive and compelling as the artists, producers, and engineers behind the music intended.
When it comes to battery time, M6 delivers up to 24 hours of communication time with noise cancellation active (28 hours without ANC). Meanwhile, you’ll get up to 30 hours of music playback with noise cancellation and 40 hours without. Overall, the WH-1000XM6 promises to be as exciting as ever, delivering a detailed listening experience with the flexibility of Bluetooth 5.3.
