UVI Falcon 2026 – Flagship Synth Receives Major Update
UVI’s stunningly capable software synth becomes Falcon 2026, gets a big chunk of updates and is still a free update to existing owners!
24 hours after Spectrasonics announced a significant update to their “Swiss Army Knife” synth, Omnisphere, UVI have released Falcon 2026, the latest iteration of their “one synth to rule them all”! And it comes with some really cool additions.

Falcon 2026
There are four new oscillators, including Phase Shaper, SupraSaw, 8o8 Bass Drum, and Grains. These are pretty self-explanatory, and you can hear what they do in the showcase demo video below. They add to the already hefty count of oscillators in Falcon and the Grains oscillator is particularly interesting!
There are three new FX, including a Vowels filter, Bloom Reverb and Tube Amp and new modulators including Voice and Flow Noise. There’s a new script called Chord Generator and there’s 100 new presets that take advantage of all these new features.
Improved UI
UVI say that they’ve improved the UI with refreshed graphics and visualisers and some new fonts, but on the whole, it still looks very much the same. Falcon is still an incredibly versatile instrument that gives Omnisphere a run for its money and often sits in the shadow of Eric Persing’s baby.
Falcon is accompanied by the release of four new Falcon Expansions that retail for €39 each, and UVI are running a ‘Buy One, Get One Free’ promotion on all their Falcon Expansion packs until November 3rd.

More Information
As I mentioned before, Falcon 2026 is a free update for existing Falcon owners, but if you’re new to the instrument, UVI are selling it for €/$149 (50% off) until November 3rd, and you will get a €/$100 voucher towards any UVI soundware purchase.
