New Standard N2.6 and Original N2.6 six string models
Strandberg has added new Boden N2.6 models in Electric Fuchsia Metallic and Black Denim Burst Satin finishes. These are the first two six-string headless guitars with the newly developed N2 tremolo: the Strandberg Boden Standard N2.6 and the Strandberg Boden Original N2.6. This vibrato system, dubbed “Arc TILT,” is said to offer several significant improvements, particularly in intonation.

Strandberg Boden Standard N2.6: Pretty in Pink
First up is the Strandberg Boden Standard N2.6. Many features of this model will be familiar to those who are at home in the Strandberg world. Headless design, multi-scale, extremely ergonomic body, high-quality hardware, and fantastic pickups.
Build Quality
In terms of craftsmanship, Strandberg has equipped the Boden Standard N2.6 with a solid basswood body, a titanium-reinforced roasted maple neck (patented EndurNeck profile), and a roasted maple fretboard. As is often the case with Strandberg guitars, it features a multi-scale design, ranging from 25 to 25.5 inches, with 24 stainless steel frets.
Electric Fuchsia Metallic
Visually, the guitar is rather striking, as the Strandberg Boden Standard N2.6, with its Electric Fuchsia Metallic finish, is complemented by black hardware. Making this guitar really stand out in a crowd of sunburst finishes and plain colours.
Arc Tilt N2
This hardware consists of the new Arc Tilt N2 vibrato system and Strandberg EGS Rev. 7 combined string-locking tuners. The N2 is said to primarily improve intonation and simplify the adjustment of individual string heights.
Seymour Duncan
They come fitted with two Seymour Duncan humbuckers: a Pegasus at the bridge and a Sentient at the neck. It includes master volume, master tone, and a five-way switch for selecting and combining pickups. Depending on the switch position, only the inner or outer coil of the neck pickup can be used.
The Strandberg Boden Standard N2.6 is available for $2045 / £1899 /€2099 at Thomann.
Active pickups and finer woods: Strandberg Boden Original N2.6
In addition to the Strandberg Boden Standard N2.6 model, the Swedish manufacturer is also showcasing a version from its more refined Original series with the new N2 system.
The woods used in the Strandberg Boden Original N2.6 are a notable step up in quality. The body is made of swamp ash, the top and back are solid maple with figured maple veneer, and the fingerboard is roasted birdseye maple. The neck, like the standard model, is made of roasted maple with an EndurNeck profile
Both models, Standard and Original, come with green Luminlay inlays and side dots. In terms of dimensions and bridge, this model is identical to the Strandberg Boden Standard N2.6, except for the EGS Arc String Locking Tuners.
Fishman
They have two active pickups: Strandberg POWR:D humbuckers by Fishman. Both offer a choice of different voicings via push/pull functionality using the Master Tone and Master Volume controls. The overall color scheme remains somewhat understated (compared to the Electric Fuchsia Metallic) in the stylish Black Denim Burst finish.
The Strandberg Boden Original N2.6 is available for $2799 / £2555/ €2899 at Thomann.
