Sennheiser moves into streaming with the Profile USB mic

The renowned manufacturer has entered the streaming and content market with the Sennheiser Profile USB mic. This versatile USB-C microphone promises to be a great choice for content creation, streaming, gaming, and recording.

The Sennheiser Profile USB Mic
The onboard controls include a mute button and three knobs for mic gain, monitor mix, and headphones level. Both the mute button and gain control are surrounded by LED ring lights to indicate functionality. On the gain knob, the light acts as a level and clipping meter which is handy for getting your in-stream levels just right.
For monitoring, the Profile Mic is equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack with easily accessible level controls via the front panel. In addition, you can balance between the mic input signal and any background audio running from your computer or mobile device.

The mic runs on PC and Mac on MacOS 10.15 or Windows 10.0 and beyond. Meanwhile, you can also run the Profile mic from mobile devices running iPadOS 14 or Android 9.0 and above.
As an additional option, the Profile mic is also available with an adjustable 3-point desktop arm with both 3/8 and 5/8″ mounting options. The arm also features a 9.8′ USB-C cable which is discretely integrated into the design.
