Plasma Distortion for your Eurorack? Yes please!
Erica Synths has posted a video on Facebook and Instagram of what appears to be a Plasma driven Eurorack module. The sound and the look of that plasma tube is just back-of-the-neck hair-raising. Check this out:

It looks an awful lot like the Gamechanger Audio Plasma Pedal which rocked our world at NAMM last year. And as our Jeff remarked “The clipping, the distorted tone, does not happen as usual via diodes, transistors or tubes, but over a series of high-voltage discharges in xenon-filled tubes. That sounds interesting and also a little bit mental, but we like it!… it’s more of a harsh (silicon or germanium?) Fuzz with a slight gate effect, but still cool as f**k!”

Erica Synths hasn’t released any further information or any clarification in the comments so far. I guess we can assume it’s scheduled for a NAMM 2019 reveal. I’m very excited and looking forward to more information.
