Make Noise Jumbler
Make Noise Jumbler is a 6-channel signal combiner and distributor developed for the manufacturer’s New Universal Synthesizer System. That said, the module has enough jumbling power to shake up patches in any Eurorack system. By combining and jumbling up to six audio or CV signals, Jumbler offers loads of creative possibilities for routing, switching, and blending.
In a nutshell, the module distributes six input signals to six outputs. How this is done is determined by two CV-controllable parameters. Rotate changes the order of the signals at the outputs, while Radiate combines and blends signals with adjustable intensity.
You can use this to switch routings via CV or create “variations over a theme”, as Make Noise puts it. Six LEDs visualize the output signals. As Jumbler doesn’t use switches, but 36 analog VCAs, it’s particularly well suited for smooth transitions.
Make Noise Jumbler offers many creative possibilities. In the simplest case, Jumbler routes six inputs to six outputs, and you can switch up the routing using the Rotate control. The module can also be a CV-controlled mixer and crossfader for blending waveforms from one or more oscillators, for example. You can also use Jumbler to assemble complex hybrid rhythms from gate or clock signals, switch effect routings via CV, and much more.
The module requires 10 HP of space and draws 178 mA at +12 V and 92 mA at -12 V.
