The latest Jackson Misha Mansoor Juggernaut ET8 is available in Nardo Gray and features an Evertune bridge for rock-solid tuning stability. This is a limited edition run, but it is far more affordable than some of his Custom Shop 8-string models.
27” Scale Length
While the 8-string Juggernaut plunges deep into the lower registers, it remains unmistakably true to its lineage, including the ET7. It retains the signature aerodynamic silhouette, complete with a distinct 4×4 arrowhead headstock.
Built for optimal low-end tension, this model features a 27” scale length, a solid poplar body, and a bolt-on caramelized maple neck. Following Mansoor’s preference for an ultra-flat playing surface, the premium ebony fretboard boasts a 20” radius fitted with 24 stainless steel frets for effortless playability.
Pro Spec
It also features Luminlay side dots, a heel-mount truss rod adjustment wheel, and a set of Jackson-branded locking tuners and Dunlop dual-locking buttons. Small things, but together they all add up to make this a well-thought-out touring-ready guitar.
Signature Pickups
This model features a pair of uncovered, direct-mounted Misha Mansoor signature MM1 Jackson humbuckers. These are wired to a versatile five-position blade selector switch, alongside master volume and tone controls. For added flexibility, the tone pot features a push/pull function for alternate voicings.
It comes in a Jackson gig bag; I would rather have had a hard case, as it will be awkward to source one afterward.
