Who is Carlos Asensio?
Carlos Asensio and his guitar-focused YouTube channel Guitarraviva certainly need no introduction to anyone who’s familiar with the Spanish-speaking guitar content creator world. But for those of us (like me) not too familiar with the most prominent figures: at almost 4.4 million subscribers, Guitarraviva is bigger than most English-speaking (and certainly all German-speaking) guitar YouTube channels.

What is the ST-Modern Carlos Asensio made of?
The Harley Benton ST-Modern Carlos Asensio Signature is a Super Strat-style electric guitar comes in two color variations: Ice Blue Metallic Gloss or Cactus Green Metallic. Its American alder body offers classic resonance and sustain and the combination of an alder body and roasted flamed maple neck ensures a balanced response with clear highs and rich mids.
The rosewood fingerboard with classic DOT inlays and glow-in-the-dark side marks underscores the modern character of the ST-Modern Carlos Asensio. And the D-shape of the neck glides comfortably in the palm of your hand, while the double-action truss rod offers full control over neck curvature and string action.
What pickups are included in the HSS configuration?
Electrically, the guitar features an HSS configuration of Tesla pickups: a Tesla OPUS-X at the bridge for biting, defined leads, and two Tesla Time Machine 57s in the middle and neck for deliver warm cleans and vintage-style twangs. A coil tap switch further expands its sonic palette, allowing for classic Strat sounds as well as modern high-gain tones.
Traditional knob controls and a 5-way switch add maximum flexibility. The Vegatrem VT1 Ultratrem bridge, combined with staggered tuners, ensures tuning stability and expressive bending, while the chrome hardware gives the instrument a professional finish, both visually and technically.
