the guitar store once put russian tubes in my Mesa amp while the user manual warned to use Mesa tubes only. When i took my amp home the tubes blew up within half an hour. Later when i returned it they decided to put Mesa tubes in it

Mesa tubes are russian as well but as most their amps cant be biased, they need very tight specced tubes. It’s one of those things that makes me not want a Mesa amp.
