Gretsch has released the Limited Edition Jim Dandy Parlor Solid Top and the Limited Edition Jim Dandy Concert Solid Top acoustic guitars. Both models come with a significant upgrade and are very affordable at only $249.99 each.

Gretsch has expanded its popular Jim Dandy series, known for its intimate playing experience, vintage aesthetic, and budget-friendly price, with two new models that boast upgraded specifications and eye-catching new finishes.
The limited run Jim Dandy Parlor Solid Top and the Jim Dandy Concert Solid Top both come with solid spruce tops with X-bracing. This is a substantial improvement over the laminated basswood and sapele tops found on existing models.
The back and sides of both new instruments are crafted from laminated sapele. This keeps costs down, and most of the sound will derive from the upgraded solid spruce top; therefore, these two models should exhibit a significant tonal improvement.
A big upgrade for these 1930s-inspired models, and the price point is set at an affordable $249.99 for both models.
Parlor & Concert
While both guitars maintain a compact form factor, players can choose between the slightly smaller Parlor shape and the roomier Concert shape. Two very popular sizes for acoustic guitars, which make them perfect for songwriting on the couch or performing to a crowd.
Heritage Burst
Both new models feature comfortable C-shaped necks topped with walnut fretboards adorned with white pearloid inlays. A fresh Heritage Burst finish gives the bodies a rich, retro appeal, evoking the classic designs of yesteryear.
Rounding out the hardware are open-gear, die-cast tuners, vintage-style pinned bridges made from walnut, and synthetic bone nuts.
