s(M)exoscope is an annoyingly named but completely free oscilloscope plug-in for MacOS and Windows. Originally created by Bram DeJong and Sean Evans of Smart Electronix this updated 64bit version has been developed by Armando Montanez.

That really is annoying to type. There’s not a whole lot to say about it really other than it’s a useful tool. Drop it on a track and you’ll see the waveform displayed. You can change the time period and amplitude, trigger speed and retrigger threshold. The compatibility has been greatly improved, the refresh rate increased to 30fps and bugs have been fixed. It’s simple, it’s an oscilloscope with a silly name, it’s free.
