The first thing to note about the RedNet TNX is that you can run it directly from your laptop without requiring a PCIe card. This makes it a convenient solution for large-scale recording and post-production sessions in Dolby Atmos or other multichannel immersive formats.

With RedNet TNX, you can create complex multi-user workflows in studios, live venues, or educational institutions where users can easily patch into a Dante network system. In addition, the RedNet TNX supports the RedNet Control desktop software, which gives you a comprehensive management platform and complete I/O overview for all RedNet devices.

In its standard configuration, the RedNet TNX provides 128×128 channels at 24-bit 192kHz. However, if you invest in the Dante Ready™ upgrade, you can expand to 256×256 channels at 24-bit 96 kHz. Like the PCIeNX, the RedNet TNX uses its integrated network interface for audio and control data on one Ethernet port, while the other RJ-45 connection allows switched or redundant modes.

This makes the RedNet Dante system not only versatile but highly robust in situations like live sound and broadcast. In addition, the RedNet TNX is compatible with Dante Domain Manager (DDM), and it supports the most recent AoIP formats such as AES67, and there is compliance for SMPTE ST 2110, although DDM is required.

Overall, the compact portable design of the RedNet TNX and the fact that it runs directly via Thunderbolt make it an extremely convenient pro solution. Moreover, its scalability and expandability, with the ability to upgrade and daisy chain devices, add even more value in the long term.
