The Flock Audio PATCHse is the new entry-level model of the renowned digital patchbay with a 24×24 routing matrix with a friendlier price tag.
In recent years, Flock Audio’s digitally-controlled analogue patchbay systems have become the industry standard, allowing producers and engineers to create and recall routing configurations using their intuitive software platform.

The PATCHse uses the same patented digital control system as the rest of the Flock Audio lineup, so it offers the same signal transmission quality and workflow. To reduce manufacturing costs and make the PATCHse their most accessible patchbay yet, Flock Audio has made a range of optimizations.
This includes a new external power supply with a streamlined power connection and no locking threaded connector. Also, with its fanless design, there are no moving parts, which gives the PATCHse design long-term durability. For improved consistency and straightforward manufacturing, the connectors and switches are PCB-mounted without the need for wiring harnesses.
To focus on the essentials, there is no phantom power, just pure +4 dBu analogue routing. However, the PATCHse can be combined with the [CX] Module, which offers mic inputs for recording. The chassis design has been refined with an optimized selection of materials to ensure the best quality for the price.
This includes specially sourced components that comply with the specs but don’t add to production costs, as well as other optimizations for efficient performance. Overall, the PATCHse is a welcome entry point into the world of software-based analogue patching, perfect for small studios and mastering rigs.
