Fender have a massive legacy and it is not all just guitars. Leo Fender started by building amps before he entered the world of guitar building. Their many different amps throughout the decades have graced many stages and appeared on album recordings throughout the company’s history.

Well they do have plenty to draw upon in that catalogue of classics. So they have taken some of the favourites and re-issued them again as the  ’57 Custom series, which are all tweed amps, plus there is a Bassman head as well.

All the ’57 models are based upon Fender’s 1950s tweed era range of amps. The looks are certainly very vintage in their styling all clad in that vintage tweed cloth, with chicken pointer knobs and leather handles. The actual amps are based upon those old favourites, with modern hardware plus features that we have come to expect that were missing from the originals .
