Fender Amps 2025
American Vintage ’62 Super Amplifier
Fender is bringing back a piece of history with the ’62 Super Amplifier, priced at $2,499.99. This amp is inspired by the “brown panel” amplifiers from the early 1960s, which are celebrated for bridging the tonal gap between the raw sound of 1950s tweed amps and the clean tones of mid-1960s “black panel” amps.
Harmonic Tremolo
The ’62 Super promises what Fender describes as a warm, woody, clean sound that blossoms into sweet overdrive when pushed. It also features a unique phase-shifting harmonic tremolo.
With 40 watts of power from dual 6L6 tubes pushing two 10″ Celestion Custom Design speakers, it’s designed to deliver phenomenal tone at any volume, making it suitable for both recording and live performances.
Aimed at Vintage Amp Fans
This amp is aimed at tube tone seekers, Fender enthusiasts, and collectors. I would like to hear the harmonic tremolo in action, as that could be where this amp shines.
The ’62 Super Amplifier will be available in September 2025. You order the amp here at Thomann.

Tone Master FR-12 Tweed
For players using digital guitar amp modelers and profilers, Fender is introducing the Tone Master FR-12 Tweed at $649.99. This full-range, flat-response powered speaker (FRFR) is designed to accurately reproduce the nuances of amp simulations.
1950s Tweed
Sporting a classic 1950s-era tweed covering with a brown striped grille cloth, the FR-12 Tweed brings an authentic Fender aesthetic to modern modeling setups. They have also given it a set of vintage-style tilt-back legs to help spread the sound, and there is plenty of power available.
1,000-watt
It features a powerful 1,000-watt integrated amplifier, providing ample volume and headroom for studio sessions or live performances. Players can fine-tune their onstage sound with a 3-band active EQ and a high-frequency cut control without affecting the signal sent to the PA system.
