The elysia skulpter mpressor qube combines two of the popular elysia 500-series modules into a single package with a desktop chassis.
Although many elysia owners and 500-series users may have already configured their own channel strips with the skulpter and mpressor modules, this qube version makes them available to all.

This qube configuration uses the Class-A skulpter tone-shaping mic preamp and mpressor compressor modules to create a useful portable channel strip box for studio or live use.
As both modules have compressors, you can use them in series while tracking or as independent signal processors while mixing. This makes the skulpter mpressor qube a versatile addition to any audio setup.
With the two modules in series, you get two sets of metering and two compression stages. For tracking, this is ideal as you can get an accurate picture of how much transient shaving you’re doing on the way in.
In addition, each of the modules has some special sauce of their own that makes them uniquely useful. The skulpter preamp, for example, gives you a choice of two shaping filter and saturation curves designed for vocals and instruments.
