The Electro-Voice EVOLVE G2 gets a serious power increase as well as hi-res color LCD displays, ergonomic enhancements, and the QuickSmart mobile app.
The EVOLVE G2 brings in three new models, including the 30M and 50M with more flexible 8-channel integrated digital mixers, and the 50 with its basic 3-channel mixer. The mixers in question are Dynacord-powered digital mixers, providing professional effects, ducking, feedback suppression, and four global voicing presets (Music, Live, Speech, and Club).
Electro-Voice EVOLVE G2
Across the new EVOLVE G2 series, all models have been upgraded to 1500W Class-D amplifiers, powering the 30M G2 with its 10-inch subwoofer and speaker column with six 2.8-inch neodymium drivers, and the 50 G2 and 50M G2 with their 12-inch subwoofers and columns with eight 3.5-inch drivers. Besides the higher input count, there are other reasons to choose the M version rather than the 50 G2.
With the M version, you get per-channel 3-band EQ and dynamics processing over four mic inputs, a channel with Hi-Z mode for guitars, and a DSP sub-mix menu that lets you create monitor mixes using the aux outputs. In comparison, the 50 G2 has purposefully been made more streamlined, for less complex setups like DJ events that have a dedicated mixer already.
To make setups easier than ever, the EVOLVE G2 series has nicely lit color displays on the rear panels, making it easy to see them in poor lighting conditions. The subwoofer enclosures have also been updated with optimized carrying handles that make lugging them around a little bit easier.

In addition, all G2 models function seamlessly within the same QuickSmart DSP ecosystem, allowing you to group, link, and manage up to six G2 speaker columns via the app. This consolidation makes the G2 series particularly interesting because the system allows scalability while staying easy to use. While the EVOLVE 30M G2 is ideal for smaller venues, you can easily expand with an additional 50 G2 pair and retain the flexibility of the expanded mixer.
