Cherry Audio May Sale
Until May 31 2022, all Cherry Audio products are on sale with discounts ranging from 20% up to 75%. Among the offers are the developer’s newest releases, such as Dreamsynth, Rackmode, and Quadra.
Dreamsynth takes its inspiration from the digital and analogue hybrid synthesizers of the mid-to-late 1980s. Synths such as the Ensoniq ESQ-1, the Kawai K series, and the Sequential Prophet VS. The plug-in combines these classic digital tones and analogue filters with modern software innovation. Dreamsynth offers a surprising amount of tonal variety wrapped in a familiar interface and is just dense enough to be challenging without overwhelming. You can read more about it here.
Rackmode is a virtual effects rack containing 7 emulations of rare Moog rack equipment from the 1970s and 1980s. The bundle includes a total of 8 effects in a familiar virtual rack format. As it’s customary for emulations, the original functionality is expanded with meaningful additions such as presets, syncable LFOs, and stereo processing. You can read more about Rackmode here.
Quadra is like 4 synthesizers in one – it can do electric organs, it has a strings section like a Solina String Machine, then Lead and Bass sections covering the spectrum and, finally, a paraphonic Polysynth section to fill things out. There’s that, and then Cherry Audio has expanded the Quadra in all sorts of directions to give the synth greater range, velocity, pulse width modulation, switchable oscillator drift, and more. You can read up on Quadra here.
