Frigg

She was the mighty queen of Asgard, a venerable Norse goddess, who was gifted with the power of divination, and yet, was surrounded by an air of secrecy. It’s an interesting choice of name for a parametric EQ but it certainly lends a Nordic vibe to Bragi Modular.  They operate out of Denmark and are about “Modular Endeavours and viking raids” – nice! A viking helmet turns up on their faceplates and rather smartly on the knob caps as well.

The module is simple enough. You have a highpass filter with a selectable cutoff of 0, 80, 200 and 400 Hz followed by a high-band EQ ranging from 900Hz to 6kHz and a low-band EQ from 120Hz to 900Hz. Select your frequency and boost or attenuate as you see fit.
