Guitar stompbox effects always seem to turn up around Eurorack and synthesizers and while they can work ok out of the box a bit of signal matching and organisation could improve the sound quality and usability. Enter INTRFX to sort all that out for you.

It’s a little square box with 3 channels of send and return level conversion. Each channel can either shoot Eurorack through your pedals or synthesizers through your Eurorack. Channels can be patched into one another and you can set up all sorts of feedback and experimental sounds by switching things to the wrong modes – that sounds nicely unbreakable. Each channel has an FX Blend knob that can be CV controlled to mix the dry and effected signals back into each other. When nothing is connected then it can also work as a reversed linear VCA for both audio and CV.

So that’s about it. Route your Eurorack audio out to some stomp boxes, or route your drum machine or desktop synth through some of your Eurorack effects modules or filters. All while maintaining the right levels and useful connections. And all in a box that’ll fit in your pocket (assuming your pockets are quite chunky – maybe the leg pocket of your combats). That’s one useful little box.

The INTRFX is available from the 17th June for $220.

This looks like an interesting little box, perhaps a perfect complement for a semi-modular system.
