The software manufacturer Audified has over 20 years in the business of making plugins. Now they present us with MultiDrive Pedal Pro and it includes 12 beloved stompboxes from the last few decades. Included are companies like Boss, Electro-Harmonix, Ibanez and many more. All in one plug-in and with a lot of sounds!

Audified today released MultiDrive Pedal Pro, a software plug-in that has it all. Twelve selected effects pedal simulations included in the package. And that with the typical quality of the manufacturer, so expect some useful drive tones. The developers have chosen their favourite pedals from across all the stompboxes on the market. This includes Ibanez TS-808 Tube Screamer, Ibanez TS-9 Tube Screamer, Boss Blues Driver, Boss OverDrive, Boss Super OverDrive, Boss Distortion, ProCo RAT Distortion, MXR Distortion +, Boss Metal Zone, Jim Dunlop Fuzz Face, Electro Harmonix Big Muff Pi (π) and the Brian May Treble Booster.

Graphically, these virtual pedals all look very familiar, just without any logos that may cause copyright issues, but you’ll know which one is which. Thus, the operation is also self-explanatory and easy, as they work just like a regular drive pedal would. The choice of effects definitely fits into any music genre and should be a nice toy for sound designers, as well as guitarists. Audited MultiDrive Pedal Pro is available on the manufacturer’s website for $ 69. The plug-in runs on Mac OS X 10.9 or higher and Windows 7 or higher as AAX, AU, VST and VST3 in 32 or 64 bit. A 30-day unlimited demo version is also available on the website as well as several sound examples.

Who needs Boss Metal Zone? C’mon guys 🙂
Well, considering that the Metal Zone is still one of Boss’s best selling pedals, evidently quite a few folks. Maybe the guy or gal who doesn’t want to sound like the “Blooze Guy” with a Tubescreamer?
