In time for NAMM 2019, developer Accusonus updated its audio restoration software bundle – ERA – to version 3.0. Enhancements and maintenance fixes aside, ERA Bundle 3.0 introduces a new tool, the ERA De-Clipper.

Fully automated, ERA De-Clipper detects clipped audio fragments by itself and sets the threshold accordingly, restoring audio segments and improving signal quality.

Below, you can watch two videos of De-Clipper – an introduction and a demonstration of the plug-in in action.

This plug-in aside, ERA Bundle 3.0 features the latest updates to Noise Remover, Reverb Remover, De-Esser, Plosive Remover, and Voice Leveler. All of these plug-ins share the concept of Accusonus’ algorithms doing the heavy lifting with minimal adjustment needed on your part. The developer is keen on demonstrating its achievements in automated algorithm development through these pleasingly simplified plug-ins which suit both novice and professional users.

Should you desire to be more involved, have a look at the bundle’s Advanced version, which includes ERA-D. This is a more in-depth tool for denoising and deverberation that professionals ought to feel comfortable with.

Price and availability
