The ADAM Audio Sub10 PRO and Sub8 PRO will extend the low end of your existing monitoring system with a DSP system for accurate management.
Whether you’re making club music or mixing sound for motion pictures, having an accurate reading of your low-end can make your life a lot easier. With these new Sub PRO studio subwoofers from ADAM Audio, you can get that precision monitoring of your bass range, and the DSP features make them easy to set up and configure.
ADAM Audio Sub10 PRO and Sub8 PRO
Both of the new 8-inch and 10-inch Sub PRO models use drivers with fiber-reinforced paper cones mounted with high-elasticity rubber. This allows plenty of excursion and movement while the mechanics of the design produce a precise low-frequency range. The Sub PROs are powered by Class D PWM amplifiers (200W RMS) which work with the onboard DSP system.
This provides management for the EQ, crossovers, and filtering to ensure optimal performance from 26 Hz (Sub8 PRO) and 21 Hz (Sub10 PRO) to 300 Hz. In addition, the design of the front-firing bass ports has been created with efficiency in mind, in order to keep turbulence to an absolute minimum even at high SPLs.
With the accompanying free ADAM Control software, which is launched alongside the new Sub PROs, you can calibrate and manage the system via Ethernet. This includes making adjustments to gain, phase, EQ, and delays for stereo and immersive A Series and Sub PRO systems. Like the A Series monitors, the Sub PROs feature embedded filters from Sonarworks SoundID Reference.
Connectivity includes AES3 for digital audio up to 24-bit 96 kHz, as well as an XLR combo input for analog. What’s more, immersive users will benefit from the LFE mode designed for Dolby Atmos systems. Meanwhile, the Wide mode lets the Sub PRO work across its full range. Overall, with its well-constructed wooden cabinets and metal grilles, the Sub PRO is built for daily professional use and is the natural expansion for A Series users.
