Software Deals of the Week
Celemony Melodyne 5: Up to 74% Off
Celemony basically rewrote what pitch correction means with Melodyne. While most plugins just snap a vocal to the nearest scale note, Melodyne breaks recordings down into individual notes, what Celemony calls blobs, that you can freely shape in pitch, timing, formants, and volume. The software comes in four tiers: Essential, Assistant, Editor, and Studio. Through June 30th, all four editions are up to 74% off.
Celemony Melodyne 5 Essential covers the basics of pitch and timing and works well if you just want clean vocals without a steep learning curve. Assistant steps up to the full Celemony Melodyne toolkit, adding vibrato, drift, formant, and sibilant editing plus audio-to-MIDI export, and it’s the edition most worth recommending if vocal editing is a regular part of your work. Celemony Melodyne Editor adds the legendary DNA algorithm, which lets you edit polyphonic material like piano or guitar recordings note by note. Celemony Melodyne Studio tops it off with multitrack editing, so you can work on multiple vocal or instrument tracks at once in a single window, which is exactly what you want for choirs or stacked backing vocals.
In practice, picking the right edition comes down to how you actually work. If you’re mostly fixing lead vocals, Celemony Melodyne Assistant gets you remarkably far since it already covers everything you need for intonation, timing, and dynamics. If you regularly deal with polyphonic material, matching piano samples to a song’s chords or cleaning up guitar takes, Editor or Studio become necessary rather than optional. And since you can upgrade at any point for just the difference in list price, starting with Essential or Assistant is a low-risk way in.
Through June 30, 2026, grab Celemony Melodyne 5 in any edition here at Plugin Boutique* with up to 74% off.
SSL Native Channel Strip 2: Now 86% Off
SSL built the Native Channel Strip 2 around the EQ and dynamics section of their own 9000K console, straight from the source. Unlike third-party emulations, this one comes directly from SSL, and that matters when it comes to how accurate the recreation actually is. Through June 26th, the SSL Native Channel Strip 2 is €19.84 instead of €152.32.
At its core is a classic 4-band EQ design with parametric LMF and HMF bands plus shelving LF and HF bands that can switch to bell curves. The entire EQ section toggles between E-Series and G-Series character and can even be applied to the dynamics sidechain. SSL’s proprietary anti-cramping technology handles the phase artifacts that tend to show up in digital EQs around 15 to 20 kHz. The dynamics section brings a separate compressor and gate/expander with switchable soft and hard knee behavior, plus high and low pass filters that work on the sidechain too.

In real use, the SSL Native Channel Strip 2 holds up on basically any source. Vocals, drums, bass, guitars, synths, and buses all benefit from that precise but musical EQ curve. If you’re running an SSL UC1 or UF8 hardware controller, you get seamless integration through the 360° Plug-in Mixer software on top of everything else.
Through June 26, 2026, grab the SSL Native Channel Strip 2 here at Plugin Boutique* for €19.84 instead of €152.32with 86% off.
Plugin Alliance Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor Class A: Now 85% Off
Plugin Alliance digitally recreated one of the rarest pieces of hardware in studio history with the Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor Class A. The original dates back to 2012, and Vintage King limited production to just 50 units. Brainworx modeled this rare Class A variant using their own Tolerance Modeling Technology and even threw in features the hardware never had.
Inside, two compressor stages run in sequence: an electroluminescent optical section with two-stage release behavior similar to an LA-2A, followed by a discrete Class A VCA section with Lundahl input transformers. Three switchable output transformers, Nickel, Iron, and Steel, shape the frequency response and distortion character of the whole signal path. Compared directly to the original hardware compressor, the Class A version hits harder in the VCA section and runs about 1 to 3 dB hotter at identical gain settings, which adds density and warmth to the sound. Brainworx also threw in exclusive plugin-only features that don’t exist on the hardware at all: a Parallel Mix control, a variable sidechain highpass filter, M/S processing, Mono Maker, and stereo width control.

In practice, the Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor Class A does its best work on the master bus and in mastering chains, where even a single dB of optical reduction plus two dB of discrete reduction at a low ratio gets you exactly the kind of glue mastering engineers talk about. On drum buses, running both compressor stages together adds punch without harsh compression artifacts. If you’ve used the standard green version before, the difference is immediate: warmer, punchier, with more depth in the stereo image. Radiohead, Foo Fighters, and Coldplay have all leaned on the original hardware, which says something about how musical this circuit actually is.
Through June 30, 2026, grab the Plugin Alliance Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor Class A here at Plugin Boutique* for €25.79 instead of €180.49 with 85% off.
