Ludwig Drums 2026: The Evolution Series Evolves
The drum kits in the Evolution series (crafted from six-ply poplar) now feature stunning gold Keystone badges and a script logo bass drum reso head. Ludwig is introducing four brand-new finishes: the dazzling Prosecco Sparkle, the rich Crimson Sparkle, the indulgent Caramel Sparkle, and the captivating Atlantic Sparkle.
The drum kits available in these configurations for Ludwig Drums 2026:
- 20“x14” bass drum, 10“x7” and 12“x8” rack toms, 14“x14” floor tom, 14“x5” snare
- 22“x16” bass drum, 10“x7” and 12“x8” rack toms, 16“x16” floor tom, 14“x5” snare
- 22“x16” bass drum, 10“x7” and 12“x8” rack toms, 14“x14” and 16“x16” floor toms, 14“x5” snare
Pocket Junior: Redesign for Ludwig Drums 2026!
The Ludwig Pocket series is the latest collaboration with legendary drummer Questlove, following the success of the Breakbeats series. These fantastic four-piece kits, sold as complete packages with hardware and cymbals, are designed for children aged 4 to 10.
The setup consists of a 16″ bass drum, a 10″ rack tom, a 13″ floor tom, and a 12″ snare drum. Three beautiful finishes join the line-up for Ludwig Drums 2026: Crystal Blue Sparkle, Sugar Sparkle, and Moon Dust.
Update for the Breakbeats Series
Ludwig’s Breakbeats series was also created in collaboration with legendary drummer Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson of The Roots. It’s perfect for drummers who need a compact kit for small stages, sessions, or unplugged gigs. Ludwig is introducing three new finishes for Ludwig Drums 2026: Frost Sparkle, Lilac Sparkle and Deep Blue Sparkle.
The drum manufacturer has also added some upgrades. For example, the 10″ x 7″ rack tom now comes with the Vibra-Band tom mount, which is designed to enhance shell resonance. There are also new bass drum legs and brackets for the 13″ x 13″ floor tom from the Evolution series, as well as a newly developed riser for the 16″ x 14″ bass drum.
Accent Series with Vintage Flair
Like the Evolution series, the drum kits from Ludwig’s Accent series now feature the iconic gold Keystone badges. These nameplates have been a distinctive feature of Ludwig drums since the 1960s. Pair these drums with the Mini Classic Lugs and the 60s Script logo on the bass drum reso head, and you’ve got yourself a seriously vintage set of drums.
There are also three new finishes: Snow Dust, Jade Dust, and Moon Dust. You can get the complete sets in the Fuse configuration (20″ x 14″ bass drum, 10″ x 8″ and 12″ x 9″ rack toms, 14″ x 14″ floor tom, 14″ x 5″ snare) and the Drive configuration (22″ x 16″ bass drum, 10″ x 8″ and 12″ x 9″ rack toms, 16″ x 16″ floor tom, 14″ x 5″ snare).
