Until now, Iftah Sting 2 was locked to Max for Live and Ableton Push 3 standalone users only. That’s changed today: Iftah just released its acid line generator as a standalone plugin for macOS, Linux, and Windows. You’re no longer tied to Ableton Live either, Sting 2 now runs in Bitwig Studio, Logic Pro, and pretty much any other compatible DAW.

What the Plugin Version Brings to the Table
The core sequencer engine stays exactly as good as it was: four generative algorithms still drive those characteristic, organically evolving acid patterns. What’s new is a multi-voice counterpoint mode, letting you generate two lines, chords, and a bassline all at once. Nice.
The feature set also includes MIDI file import, a dedicated modulation section with two LFOs, and hardware support, your Novation Launchpad or Monome can now turn into a full hands-on performance and composition rig.
