Vintage Guitars launch V6M24 models at NAMM

For this year’s NAMM Show, Vintage Guitars are launching a new range of ‘modern’ guitars called V6M24. The models are based on a Super Strat design and feature an alder body routed for two Wilkinson WHHB humbuckers and have a maple neck with 24 jumbo frets. They are all fitted with a Trev Wilkinson VS50IIK Vibrato system and also have Wilkinson WJ07LH E-Z-Lok machine heads.
Available in a choice of Daytona Yellow, Laguna Blue and Ventura Green finishes, this range also has matching reverse headstocks. These guitars are aimed at giving you a modern high performance guitar on a budget. Vintage Guitars are known for making good quality “player’s” guitars. They also have artists like Thomas Blug on their roster with signature models in their Icon Series, showing that they can attract pro players.
Vintage aren’t really known for making a more modern Super Strat style guitar, and so this is a new direction for them. Hopefully this new range will be as well-made and designed as their previous ranges. I have owned a Vintage Strat from their Icon Series and it was a really well made little instrument, had a lovely neck on it and perfect fretwork. I have high expectations for this new range, although I’m not overly wild about their choice of colours.
They officially launch at NAMM 2016. I have seen the range mentioned online already here and there, so it looks like they have been testing the water beforehand. This might tourn out to be a great guitar in terms of value for money.
