Future MB from Three-Body Technology is an extensive multiband processing platform with deep features for flexibility and precise sound-shaping.
Future MB provides three-stage dynamics processing on up to six independent bands that can be set to occupy any part of the frequency range. Each band can be used as a zonal processor, or you can link them together in a network with three different phase modes, variable slope control, and up to 4x linear-phase oversampling.

As you select each band, you can adjust compression, expansion, and upward dynamics processing with individual attack and release time parameters, as well as ratio and threshold controls. To ensure the processing is clean and pristine, the crossover filters between the bands offer high-quality processing with the lowest chance of artifacts possible.
With the spectral features of Future MB, you get a visual overview of the energy and dynamics behaviour in real-time across all bands. For precise, frequency-contious adjustments, you have direct access to details such as the crossover positions, gain reduction, and interactivity between bands.
One of the most exciting features is the Delta Matrix, which is almost like a mod matrix for dynamics processing. This allows you to use the gain delta of any band to control the processing on another band, and you can do this positively or inversely. Once routed, the gain shaping of a particular band can become a template for other parts of your mix, which is a powerful tool.
Besides the three processing styles on each dynamics stage (Clean, Glue, and OTT), Future MB also has a neat Priority EQ function, which allows the sidechain detector signal on each band to be shaped completely separately from the band itself. Overall, Future MB promises to be a revelation for bus processing of any kind during mixdown and a powerful mastering tool.
