Taylor Guitars has partnered with Sony Pictures Consumer Products and HBO to create a replica of the iconic acoustic guitar from the hit HBO Original series, The Last of Us.

Taylor’s The Last of Us Replica 314c guitar is a meticulously crafted instrument based on their popular 300 Series and featuring the versatile Grand Auditorium body style. It offers Taylor’s signature playability, professional-grade sound, and refined workmanship.
However, this guitar also has a clever tie-in with the hugely popular HBO show, based on a computer game. As you see, Ellie learn to play Aha’s Take On Me in the show.
Season Two
Fans and musicians can now own an exact copy of the guitar Joel gives Ellie in the critically acclaimed show, which is currently streaming its second season on Max. They made models like this a few years ago, but now that the second season of the show is worldwide, they have decided to do another limited run of this model.
Crafting the Sound
This acoustic-only model boasts a solid Sitka spruce top and solid sapele back and sides, a combination that produces a clear, warm, and balanced voice with an appealing midrange presence, described as perfect for musical storytelling.
Additional refined appointments include grained ivoroid body binding and grained ivoroid fretboard inlays that feature both the prominent moth design and large dot position markers. A custom double-ring rosette, also in grained ivoroid, adds to its unique aesthetic.
The Grand Auditorium body is equipped with a Venetian cutaway, providing effortless access to the guitar’s upper register notes. Every guitar comes with a Taylor-built deluxe hardshell case, ensuring safe transport whether it’s across the country or through a quarantine zone.

The Taylor x The Last of Us Replica guitar is available to order now through Taylor and select authorised Taylor dealers.
Each guitar is built on demand at Taylor’s Southern California factory, with an expected delivery time of 6–10 weeks. Please note that quantities for this special release are limited.
The 314c was already a much-loved model, so this limited run version could be popular with collectors and fans of the show. Thankfully, there aren’t any mushroom-based zombies included in the price with this model.
