More Information

Shure SM7B

Easily one of the most popular mics available today, the Shure SM7B is loved equally by creators, podcasters, and musicians. As a broadcast-quality dynamic mic, it offers excellent speech intelligibility and will also do well capturing guitar amps and brass instruments.

Shure SM 7B

The SM7B is perfect for recording in unfavourable acoustic spaces, as its cardioid pickup pattern is highly localized with excellent off-axis cancelation. In addition, the mid-boost and low-end roll-off switches allow you to enhance the source somewhat.

One thing worth noting when recording with the SM7B is that it’s a low-output microphone and requires extra preamplification to perform at optimal.
