Plugin Alliance SPL Vitilizer Mk3-T: A Recreation of a Modern Classic
A carefully modelled Vitilizer plugin with an expanded feature set.
The Plugin Alliance SPL Vitilizer Mk3-T plugin has been developed by Brainworx, carefully modelled on the analogue hardware version.
However, this plugin version offers a range of features that the hardware doesn’t, making the plugin useful in a wider scope of applications within the flexible framework of a DAW environment.
Plugin Alliance SPL Vitilizer Mk3-T
For starters, the plugin can switch between the classic gold Mk2-T and the modern black Mk3-T versions of the Vitilitizer, each with different sonic characteristics. Also, the simulation of the ±18 V high-voltage circuitry gives the processor extended headroom, which makes the Vitilizer ideal for processing channel groups, mixbus, and mastering.
Leveraging the Brainworx patented TMT technology, the Vitilizer plugin offers ultra-realistic analogue circuitry behaviour, for a sound that is as close to the hardward as possible. In addition, the plugin has a Bass Split Mode that allows you to process the tight and soft components of your low-end separately for precise control.
Like many of the Brainworx plugins, there is the Mono Maker control, which encodes the frequency range below the specified point to mono, perfect for mastering applications. What’s more, the Headroom control lets you set your gain structure precisely before you export your audio or add additional processing.

Overall, the Vitilizer Mk-3 T plugin offers versatility with the trusted Brainworx sound. It is likely to appeal to mixing and mastering engineers, whether they are already users of the hardware Vitilizer or not.
